Driveway & Base Rock (Minus)

Rock labeled “-0” contains fines that pack down tight. Best for driving surfaces and base layers.

  • 3/4"-0: most common driveway rock
  • 1 1/2"-0: heavier surface use
  • 3"-0: common base rock
If you want it to pack tight, choose minus (-0).

Drain Rock

Drain rock does not pack. Better for drainage, culverts, and many landscaping applications.

  • 3/4"–1/4" drain rock
  • 1 1/2"–3/4" drain rock
If you need water to move through it, choose drain rock.

Specialty & Construction Rock

For approaches, fill, erosion control, slopes, and heavy-duty use.

  • 4"–6" rock: common for new approaches
  • Pit Run: general fill and base material
  • Riprap / Boulders: erosion control & heavy use
